Redesign for Wendi Schuller

A great children's book author deserves a website that matches the energy of their work — colorful, welcoming, and impossible to scroll past. When Wendi Schuller came to Noventum, her site was focused on a single book, while her catalog had grown far beyond it. Our author website redesign on WordPress transformed the experience: a new brand identity centered on Wendi as the author, a vibrant layout that showcases every book in her series, and a Beaver Builder setup that puts her — not a developer — in full control of updates.

Client Background

Wendi Schuller is a children's book author and creator of the Jack Jack the Cat and Margo: Girl Detective series. A globe-trotting former nurse, NLP practitioner, and hypnotherapist, she draws on her travels and career background to write engaging, illustrated stories for young readers, alongside her earlier work The Global Guide to Divorce.

Project Scope

- Rebranded the site from a single-book focus ("Jack Jack the Cat") to an author-centric brand (Wendi Schuller Books), supporting her growing catalog
- Designed a bright, playful, and colorful visual identity matching the tone of her children's books
- Rebuilt the entire site on Beaver Builder for a flexible, page-builder-based architecture
- Structured key pages: Home, Books, Parental Articles, Links and Resources, About
- Created a book showcase layout featuring covers, ratings, descriptions, and direct links to Amazon
- Set up a contact form for inquiries

Key Outcomes

- A cohesive, on-brand site that reflects the playful spirit of Wendi's books
- Easy, ongoing content management for the client via a standard editor — no developer needed for text/image updates
- Scalable structure ready to accommodate future book releases and content
- Improved presentation of the author's portfolio, reviews, and external sales links (Amazon, social, YouTube)
